Our First Year Married

Our first year was spent mainly apart. If you're a military spouse, you completely understand and know that this is normal. When you aren't in the military or you don't know anyone who is...this may seem crazy and unheard of. "What? You spent you're first year of marriage apart? What's the point of getting married?" Until your loved one has gone to war and you realize how short life is: you won't understand the need and want to start your life with each other as soon as possible. Although 9+ months were spent apart, we made the best of it and cherished every second we had together. Here's a look into what our first year was like.
